Minnesota’s nitrogen fertilizer rule will not be implemented until the end of next year’s legislative session. At the end of the last session, House and Senate Agriculture Committee leadership proposed a resolution that would delay approval of the Minnesota Department of Agriculture rule. That resolution has now been submitted and published in the State Register, which officially delays implementation. Despite this action, the State will continue with its public informational meetings and the review by the administrative law judge.
