The South Dakota Department of Agriculture is reminding applicators to read and follow all label instructions when applying dicamba. As restricted use products, Engenia, Fexapan, and Xtendimax must be applied between sunrise and sunset when wind speeds are from three-to-ten miles per hour at boom height. Applications can occur until the R1 growth stage of the soybean crop or beginning bloom. In addition, applicators are required to maintain records of each application. Tank mix information must be printed and stapled to the spray record. More information can be found on the SDDA’s website.
