USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service is wrapping up data collection for the 2017 Census of Agriculture. To stay on track for data release in February 2019, the deadline for submitting the paper questionnaire is June 15. The Census can be completed online until the end of July. Phone follow-up and personal interviews will also continue through July. Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue says the data is used “to make important local, state, and national decisions that will have an impact on farmers, ranchers and rural communities.”
