American Coalition for Ethanol CEO Brian Jennings is concerned with the status of E15. “We’re very concerned the administration is not going to fulfill the promise of the President to allow E15 use year-round. You would sure expect if the President intended for his promises to be kept, he would pick up the phone and have a conversation with his EPA administrator because it doesn’t appear as if EPA has gotten the message.” The EPA will also release the proposed renewable volume obligations for 2019 sometime in the next month. Jennings is hopeful lost volumes due to issuing of small refinery waivers will be reallocated back to the Renewable Fuel Standard.
