As expected, Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton vetoed the tax bill and the supplemental spending bill. The tax bill would have brought the state tax code in alignment with the new tax federal tax law. It also included changes to Section 179 expensing, but with the veto, those adjustments won’t be made. A decision has not been announced regarding the bonding bill. Dayton has no plans to call a special session.
