Despite a late start to the planting season, DuPont Pioneer District Sales Lead Nate Johansen says farmers stuck with their plan. “We’re seeing growers sticking with their maturity with corn and continuing with the rotation that they had planned. They’re focused on getting the max yield by getting the right product on the right acre.” Plots have also gone in this spring. Johansen sees value in locally-driven research. “We have a great opportunity with the Red River Valley and the North Dakota/Minnesota markets with our Moorhead research station.”
