China may be ready to drop its tariff threat for U.S. farm commodities, like soybeans and pork. Reuters and Dow Jones are both reporting the U.S. and China are working on an agreement that would end U.S. sanctions against a Chinese telcom business. In exchange, China would remove the tariffs on soybeans and other commodities. Over the weekend, President Donald Trump went to Twitter to offer support to the Chinese phone company. That news has been criticized by members of both parties, citing security issues.
