Farmland values in the eight Midwestern states served by AgCountry Farm Credit Services, Farm Credit Services of America and Frontier Farm Credit increased nearly two percent during the first six months of this year. Cropland values increased 3.5 percent in South Dakota, 1.2 percent in Minnesota and a fraction of one percent in North Dakota. Inventories are limited, which supports the market. Sales activity is down nearly 70 percent from where it was in 2025 in Minnesota; down 45 percent in South Dakota and 11 percent in North Dakota.
