Farm Bill 2.0 is expected to reach the House floor in the upcoming week. Nearly 350 amendments were submitted for the Wednesday deadline. Growth Energy CEO Emily Skor said an amendment calling for year-round E15 would unlock new options at the pump, save money for consumers and create new markets for farmers. Another amendment would shut down California’s Prop 12 and Massachusetts’ Question 3 laws, which prohibit the sale of pork, eggs and veal unless they were produced under the state’s housing standards.
