Based on November 1 conditions, South Dakota corn production is forecast to be up two percent from last year and is record high. The average yield is estimated at 166 bushels per acre, up 14 bushels per acre from last year and is a new record. South Dakota’s average soybean yield was 45 bushels per acre, up one bushel from last year.
