Crystal, North Dakota farmer Brian O’Toole has harvested his rye cover crop. “Normally, it’s a 40 bushel crop. This year, it exceeded that quite a bit. We are actually overwhelmed with the amount of rye we got off.” O’Toole is expecting good spring wheat yields, but the protein is lacking.
