The Minnesota Senate approved the omnibus agriculture bill with a vote of 58-to-seven. The amount of funding available was lower than what had been expected earlier in the session. Agriculture Committee Chair Aric Putnam said they built the best bill they could with what was allotted. “I would have liked more money, but it was still significantly more than has been dedicated in the past couple years and I think we spread it out in a way that was balanced and fair.”
