The Grand Forks City Council addressed three different value-added agriculture projects in its recent meeting. The Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States ruled last week it has no jurisdiction over the proposed Fufeng corn wet milling project. Grand Forks city staff have been asked to compile additional information. The council also authorized city to work on a development deal with the proposed Epitome Energy project and extended a letter of intent agreement with Northern Plains Nitrogen for another six months.
