USDA says there 3.2 million head nationwide this past year. That’s down one percent from 2019. South Dakota had 200,000 head, down 5,000 from last year. Minnesota is unchanged at 90,000 head. North Dakota’s lamb crop totaled 52,000 head, up 2,000 from 2019.
