According to USDA, South Dakota’s average corn yield was record high this past year at 162 bushels per acre. Soybeans averaged 45.5 bushels per acre, up three bushels from the previous year. Oil-type sunflowers averaged 1,900 pounds, up 200 pounds from 2019.
