Minnesota Governor Tim Walz’s advisory council on climate change is meeting for the first time today. There is a diverse mix on the 15-member advisory group, including two farmers; Patrick Lunemann of Clarissa and Anne Schwagerl of Browns Valley. The council will identify strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, including ways agriculture can reduce its carbon footprint.
