With deadlines approaching, the Farm Service Agency is providing additional flexibility for farmers to file on acres with failed crops or crops that were prevented from planting. For insured crops, farmers who filed a PP claim with the crop insurance company but filed a Notice of Loss after the deadline are now considered timely for FSA purposes. For uninsured crops, the Notice of Loss must be signed and verified by the final acreage reporting date on Wednesday.
