Syngenta is reporting annual net income of $1.45 billion, which is steady with last year. Global sales totaled $13.6 billion, up four percent. Seed sales were hurt by the planting delays and reduced acreage in the United States. Crop protection sales increased slightly with strong performance in Brazil offsetting the weak U.S. market.
