The deadline to apply for the Market Facilitation Program has been extended to February 14. The original deadline was January 15, but that timeline was extended with the government shutdown. The trade mitigation program provides relief for farmers impacted by the loss of exports. Payments are available for soybeans, corn, wheat, dairy, hogs and a handful of other commodities.
