Minnesota Corn Growers Association President Brian Thalmann is looking forward to the MN Ag Expo trade show. He says the association will be updating on the Minnesota Corn Grows Minnesota initiative and more. “Also, mixed throughout the Expo, there are educational opportunities to look at weed resistance and research.” Policy priorities will be discussed during the MCGA annual meeting held January 23. Thalmann says transportation is likely a priority, along with tax conformity and buffers. “We’re going to work closely with state lawmakers to get these across the finish line.” The MN Ag Expo will be in Mankato January 23 and 24.
