It’s been one week since President Trump initiated a rulemaking process requiring 15 percent ethanol blended into fuel year-round. Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley says the rule making process will take time. “After the 90-day comment period, there’s just one other bureaucratic stop and that’s the Office of Management and Budget,” says Grassley. “I think OMB will be on board.” Grassley also says the drop-dead date to get summer E15 sales (starting June 1) means EPA needs to get a rule completed by March 1, 2019.
