North Dakota Mill President and CEO Vance Taylor tells the Red River Farm Network the latest rail and grain storage project is making progress. By the end of construction in the spring, there will be four new storage bins, expected to hold 250,000 bushels of wheat each. “That means one million bushels of new storage. We’ll have five million bushels of grain storage altogether.” The mill is also putting in 18,000 feet of track, allowing the business to bring in 110 car shuttle trains. This allows the mill to source more grain from the western part of the state. The goal is for both to be usable by the end of the year.
