The Pro Farmer Midwest Crop Tour is underway with the eastern leg of the tour beginning in Ohio. “We anticipate some pretty good crops,” said Pro Farmer editor Brian Grete. “The soybeans look very uniform and the corn looks good for the most part, but what you see from the road isn’t always what you get when you’re out in the field.” Pro Farmer senior market analyst Jeff Wilson is overseeing the western leg of the tour. “The crop that USDA is forecasting for South Dakota and Nebraska is expected to have record yields. Our goal is to go out and see how everything looks.” The Pro Farmer tour wraps up Thursday in Rochester, Minnesota.
