Harvest has made its way to North Dakota. Manvel, North Dakota customer harvester Tim Buck is back home just in time to take off the barley crop. The first samples were in the mid-14s for moisture. “The barley yields should be good, but hopefully the weather will warm up a bit so we can really get the combines rolling. We haven’t harvested enough yet to know the true yield.” says Buck. “Some of the wheat looks thin in places. I think the heat pushed it a little bit, but it won’t be no disaster. I’d say within a week we’ll be harvesting wheat as well.”
