U.S. and Chinese trade negotiators ended trade discussions without reaching an agreement Sunday. A statement by China’s news agency says both sides achieved real progress for ag and energy trade, but details need to be worked out. The statement also says if the U.S. introduces trade sanctions, including tariffs, any results from the negotiations will not go into effect. Last week, the Trump Administration announced plans to impose tariffs on $50 billion in Chinese goods.
