USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service says the U.S. corn crop is rated 79 percent good to excellent, which is higher than the trade expected. Ninety-two percent of the crop is planted. More than three-quarters of the soybean crop is planted, which is higher than the trade expected at 74 percent complete. Most of the spring wheat is planted in the U.S. The winter wheat crop is rated 38 percent good to excellent, which is higher than the trade expected.
